Do you have a bot that auto reverts my edits or was that a legitimate revert that you thought didn't belong? I could see the argument that story wise it doesn't belong, but technically the crossovers don't belong strictly in any franchise. It's a cinematic only, no gameplay from the other games and arguably, although posted on Heroes of the Storm channel, more Overwatch than anything else due to having a location from Overwatch and D.va and Genji while only having Diablo from another franchise.
What about this, a section of cinematics that are non-canon but are crossover? There are a few shorts that I'm sure people would like to see as being fans of Overwatch but they may never find due to not being fans of the other games. I can't find one of the shorts by Blizzard again specifically because of this, I have no idea what youtube channel it is on.
A non-canon crossover section could be a good idea? These wikis are meant to gather information and organize it? I found a page that seems to have a lot of what I want but I have to go elsewhere to find content that I like on pages I don't follow or dig around more on google. Or a new section?
Heading Non-Canon Cinematics
Description Cinematics that have crossover from other franchises but may not directly tie into the lore of Overwatch.

Yes? Think about it and get back to me?
Sorry, not trying to sound like a jerk.
I'd like to add, of course there's a place for those on heroes of the storm but there's duplicate information all over the internet what's different about all these duplicates is how it's organized. Considering it is in Hanamura and has Genji and D.va I think it could have a place here as well.
Anyway, I'm done going on. Maybe think about it and let me know.
Except it was made by the same people, Blizzard. I don't know that you can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that anyone one from Blizzard that worked on that cinematic didn't work on any of the Overwatch cinematics. Your statement would also imply that all the content was made from scratch, D.va, Genji and the Hanamura environment.
Hello! I recently sent you an email (to the address associated with your account) and I wanted to check and make sure you received it. If you did, please reply and let me know what you think. If you don't see anything, please let me know here. Thanks!
Note: I originally sent this to Theodorearthurroberts but got no response (not sure if he's been on lately). I figured I'd propose this to you and see what you think.
Since we're finally starting to get to the agents answering the recall sent by Winston, what will we do with the page when we learn who all accepted? Right now, the page is pretty oriented on the past, which works because we don't know a whole lot about the present, but I feel like we're barely scratching the surface of the story and they'll start telling it for real soon.
So when we get to the current times, with Overwatch actively operating as a vigilante organization in a war against Talon, how should it be written? Such as the members who accepted the recall? Assuming all the ones we've seen accepted (Genji, McCree, Mercy, and Torbjörn) like the ones we currently know for sure (Winston, Tracer, Mei, and Reinhardt) I feel like it should be reflected beyond having a star that indicates "present day member". Not to mention, I get this feeling there's going to be new recruits among their ranks as well.
My suggestion is that when we get there, we divide them by eras. It could be "Golden Era" marked by Jack Morrison as the leader and "Recall Era" marked by Winston as the leader. Golden and Recall can be their own sections divided within the organization page, similar to how Mei has her own sections for various things (I'm assuming this is planned for every character, correct?). Each section can list the story of their eras, who all were members at the time.
Just something to think about, I think we should be prepared for the future when it arrives.
Hey there, Evan. So since the Overwatch League has become such a professional influence in Overwatch and so heavily supported by the developers and community, I'm curious to know if you'd be willing to consent to expanding the wiki in response. I'd like to create articles for each player, coach, events, etc. The Overwatch League goes hand-in-hand with the base game so I feel like this is definitely appropriate for the wiki, however I would like your support before making such a drastic addition. Thanks!
liquipedia already has extensive information about the esports stuff. I'll let this wiki dip its toes in a little bit with OWL and other Blizz-run things but I think pages for players, coaches, or non-OWL teams would be going too far.
I've been meaning to make a page for OWL Season 1 and rework the World Cup pages, so if you want to take those on you're free to.
Well my current focus would like to be strictly OWL teams and players only. I don't plan on delving further into non-OWL teams and players like Lunatic-Hai or anything.
Anyway, as Liquipedia is a good source for esports, I think it would be a smart move for this wiki to focus on the esports scene as well. Other wikis are our competition so we would want to compete with them to gain more viewers and contributors, and esports would definitely be a good starting point. If someone wants to know about the competitive scene (a very popular scene at that), I think it would be ideal to attract as many viewers as we can while making the wiki even richer with appropriate information.
As you might remember, I edited recently both Lúcio's and Junkrat's personality sections and changed the "men" into "boys". After no longer than later the same day, user Roadhogissexy had an issue with this, saying, and I quote: "he's a grown man not a boy" about Lúcio, and "same as with lucio", about Junkrat.
Now, my intention is not to be a troll, I am merely making a point about something that bugs me a bit. Tracer, as you know, is a 26 year-old woman. Her personality section, however refers to her as a "girl". Junkrat is 25 years old, Lúcio is also 26. I pointed this anomality out, and got told that nobody cares if men get called boys, or women get called girls, and not to make an issue about it.
As you see, in less than 24 hours, someone suddenly cared. "They are grown men, not boys". Here is my question: Why would Junkrat and Lúcio get to be grown men, when Tracer has to be a girl?
I would have gladly just edited Tracer's page myself without a big fuss, but unfortunately due to vandalism, the page is semi-protected, and thus I cannot edit it.
In conclusion, I ask you that Tracer's personality section gets corrected to refer to her as a grown woman she is.
On July 23rd of this year I was looking at this page and I accidentally changed something that caused the articles to appear in alphabetical order even when "Most visited" is selected as the sorting type.
What I did may have been to reset the view counts on each page, so there was no data on number of visits and it had to display them in alphabetical order.
Ok, I have to answer this: you have not clicked anything to reset the page count, I do neither actually know how to reset the page count, nor bring it back to "normal" I think it is just a coincidence that the page count reset right around that time or something. And since this is a minor things, it neither needs a fix nor reset this will bring us any problem. So don't dwell into this anymore.
I requested the page to be deleted because it was filled with error and assumptions. The sources were either not credible (a spray of Bastion towering over a forest used as a source that there was an army of large E54 units) or non existent (The rest of the E54 units).
There was no need to have an entire page devoted to E54 when every source that refers to E54 refers to the playable Bastion specifically, or all Bastions E54 or otherwise.
It was also filled with references to "The E54 known as Bastion" when Bastion was the in-universe nickname given to all Siege Automatons.
I understand, but the way a wiki is meant to work is that if a page is put up for deletion, discussion is meant to be held on the talk page for a few days before a final decision is made (unless the page is spam or troll work).
